Return & Refunds
Last updated: April 16th, 2026
This Refund and Return Policy applies to purchases made through our website by consumers located in the European Union. It explains your right to return products, the conditions that apply to returns, the refund process, and your statutory rights under EU consumer law.
By placing an order on this website, you acknowledge that this policy forms part of our terms of sale, without limiting any mandatory rights you may have under applicable EU member state law. This policy is intended to reflect the requirements of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and Directive (EU) 2019/771 on certain aspects concerning contracts for the sale of goods.
Scope of this policy
This policy applies to rifle stocks and related non-regulated accessories and hunting equipment sold through our website to consumers in the European Union. It is intended for business-to-consumer sales and does not necessarily apply in the same way to business purchasers, resellers, wholesalers, or other non-consumer transactions.
If any product sold by us is subject to specific national restrictions, transport limitations, licensing requirements, or other lawful sales conditions in the destination country, those rules remain applicable in addition to this policy. This policy addresses return and refund rights only and does not override other customs, transport, or product compliance laws.
Returns – Your Right of Withdrawal
We want you to order with confidence. If you are a consumer buying online within the EU, you generally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. This is the standard cooling-off right for most online sales under EU consumer law.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please notify Armatrack within that 14-day period through a clear written statement, such as an email, contact form, or written notice, provided your communication clearly states your decision to withdraw from the purchase. After telling us that you wish to withdraw, you should return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after sending that notice.
If you purchase goods from our website, you generally have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. For goods, this withdrawal period starts on the day you, or a third party indicated by you other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods.
If the order consists of multiple goods delivered separately, the withdrawal period generally starts when you receive the last item. If the final day of the withdrawal period falls on a non-working day, the deadline is extended until the next working day.
How to Request a Return
To start a return, please contact us with the following information: your full name, order number, date of delivery, the product you wish to return, and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the contract. This helps us identify your order and process the return more quickly.
After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you informed us of your decision to withdraw. The return deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before that 14-day period expires.
Condition of returned goods
We understand that you may need to inspect the product after delivery. Under EU consumer rules, customers may handle goods as they would in a physical shop in order to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. If the product has been used beyond that level of inspection, the consumer may be responsible for any diminished value.
To help returns move smoothly, we ask that items be returned securely packaged and, where possible, with all supplied components and documentation. This does not reduce your statutory rights, but it helps protect the product during transport.
Return shipping costs
For a standard return under the 14-day right of withdrawal, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, unless Armatrack expressly agrees otherwise. EU law allows traders to place that cost on the consumer if the consumer is clearly informed in advance, witch we are doing, through this policy.
Refunds
If you validly withdraw from your purchase, Armatrack will issue your refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. However, we may withhold repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever happens first. This timing follows EU consumer withdrawal rules.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless you expressly agree otherwise. Because Armatrack shipping is free, there is normally no shipping charge to reimburse beyond the returned goods themselves.
If a returned item shows handling beyond what is necessary to inspect it properly, the refund may be reduced to reflect any loss in value, as permitted under EU law.
Faulty, defective, damaged or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, defective or the the items are faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered, please contact Armatrack as soon as possible with your order number and a brief description of the issue. Photographs may help us assess the situation quickly and provide the right solution. Armatrack will handle the matter in accordance with your statutory rights under applicable EU consumer law. In such cases, return costs should not be placed on the consumer where the lack of conformity is the trader’s responsibility.
Where goods are not in conformity with the contract, EU consumer law may give you the right to an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund depending on the circumstances and the applicable national rules implementing EU law.
Non-Returnable or Excluded Items
Under EU law, the right of withdrawal does not apply in certain cases, including custom-made or clearly personalized goods. If we sell rifle stocks that are made to a customer’s specifications, specially one of the following situations: cut to a specific length other than what is stated as default, engraved, or otherwise clearly personalized with different accessories such as bipod or tripod mounts, those items may be excluded from the 14-day withdrawal right to the extent permitted by law.
If a product page or custom order confirmation states that the item is bespoke, made to order, or clearly personalized, that notice should be read together with this policy. In such cases, cancellation or return may only be possible if the item is defective, not as described, or otherwise covered by your statutory rights.
Return Verification
When a returned item arrives, we inspect it to verify identity, completeness, and condition, and to determine whether the return qualifies for a full refund, partial deduction for diminished value, or handling under the legal guarantee rules. This inspection is part of the lawful refund process and helps us assess whether the item was returned in acceptable condition.
If the return is accepted, we will process the reimbursement within the legal timeline stated above. If we determine that the product has been returned damaged, altered, or used beyond what is necessary for inspection, we may contact you with the outcome of the inspection and explain any lawful reduction or refusal.
Recommended Return Packaging
To reduce the risk of transport damage, we recommend returning the product securely packed, ideally in the original packaging and protective materials. This recommendation is practical rather than mandatory unless the original packaging is necessary to preserve the item’s condition.
You remain responsible for any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product, and poor packaging may affect the condition in which the item is received. For that reason, we strongly advise using protective packing and a tracked shipping method.
Model for withdrawal notice
You may use the following wording if you wish to withdraw from the contract:
“I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale for the following goods: [insert product description], ordered on [date] / received on [date], name of consumer: [name], address of consumer: [address], order number: [number], date: [date].”
You are not required to use this exact form, but your notice must clearly communicate your decision to withdraw and the inimum necessary information to process your request. A clear email or written message sent within the withdrawal period is generally sufficient.
Legal Basis
This policy is based primarily on the following EU consumer law sources:
Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, which establishes the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance and off-premises contracts, the trader’s information duties, and the refund framework.
Directive (EU) 2019/771 on certain aspects concerning contracts for the sale of goods, which provides the minimum 2-year legal guarantee framework for goods that are defective or not in conformity with the contract.
National laws in EU member states implement these directives and may provide additional protections in some cases. If mandatory local consumer law gives you greater protection than this policy, the mandatory local law will prevail.
