Warranty Information
Armatrack Rifle Stocks – Built to Last
At Armatrack, we don’t just make carbon fibre rifle stocks; we engineer them to be dependable partners for your hunting life. Every A1 stock is proudly designed and shot‑tested in Romania, and we stand behind each piece with a 5‑year structural warranty that reflects how much we trust our own design and build quality.
Under EU consumer law, you are always entitled to a minimum 2‑year legal guarantee for new goods, covering any defect that appears in the first two years. Our Armatrack 5‑year warranty is a commercial, voluntary extension that goes beyond this basic right and applies specifically to major structural issues.
To benefit for this warranty you are not required to install the rifle stock by going to an authorized gunsmith. Our rifle stocks are designed to be dropped in and only require a torque wrench for installation. Armatrack cannot be held responsible for any damages or injuries that may occur if the stocks are not properly installed. If you are not comfortable with installing the rifle stock yourself or you don’t have a torque wrench that can apply a 65 inch-pounds (approximately 7.5 Nm) of torque, please consult an authorized gunsmith to make the installation for you.
What our 5‑year warranty covers
Our 5‑year warranty applies to genuine structural defects in the carbon fibre stock itself, arising from normal use, and includes:
- Manufacturer defects and workmanship
- Cracks, splits, or fractures in the carbon fibre structure that might appear during normal use of the rifle stock
- Structural delamination or separation of the layers that compromises the integrity of the stock that might appear during normal operation of the stock
- Any other structural damage that affects the ability of the stock to safely hold and support the rifle under recoil as long as those defects appeared during normal operations
- Any issues that might appear to the QD flush cups and to the bipod/tripod accessories that came installed with the rifle stock
- Any cracks or structural damages to the recoil pad
If any of these issues appear during the 5‑year service life of your stock, we will repair or replace the stock at our expense, in line with your statutory rights under EU law.
What is not covered by the warranty
Our warranty is designed to protect you from manufacturing defects, not from misuse or external damage. The following are explicitly excluded:
- Cosmetic damages, such as scratches, scuffs, minor dents, or surface marks that do not affect structural integrity.
- Ruptures, chipping, or impact damage caused by rocks, branches, drops, or other external impacts.
- Damage from abuse, misapplication, or improper use, including modifying the stock, mounting it to an incompatible platform, or using it in a way clearly outside its intended purpose.
- Issues resulting from accident or negligence, such as overheating, chemical exposure, or improper storage that causes visible degradation but not a structural manufacturing flaw.
- Damages due to improper installation, lack of proper tools that were stated as being mandatory in the user manual/installation instructions included with your rifle stock
If damage is due to misuse, cosmetic wear, or external impact, normal use‑and‑care provisions apply, and any repair would be subject to separate quotation and agreement.
What “normal use” means for an Armatrack stock
Armatrack stocks are engineered to be durable, weather‑resistant, and robust for the hunting environment. You can expect them to withstand:
- Exposure to rain, snow, humidity, and temperature changes typical of the field, no matter where your hunt takes you across the globe.
- Regular use with any factory‑approved caliber supported by your rifle’s manufacturer at the time of purchase of Armatrack stock; future factory calibers that might be released in the future require written approval from us if the new released calibers are stating higher recoil values than all previously supported calibers.
- Normal handling, carrying, and field use that corresponds to a responsible hunter’s practices.
Our warranty is not intended for use beyond the rifle manufacturer’s specifications (for example, custom wildcat calibers significantly above the rated pressure) or for anything that resembles abuse rather than realistic hunting use.
Proof of quality and testing
Every Armatrack carbon fibre rifle stock undergoes range‑based testing during production. Each stock is fired in controlled conditions to confirm that the structure, geometry, and mounting points behave as designed and that the felt recoil is a smooth, predictable push rather than a punishing hit.
A proof‑of‑quality document accompanies the warranty information included with your stock. While this is not a separate legal guarantee, it shows that your stock has passed our internal quality and performance checks. In the unlikely event that a structural issue emerges, this documentation helps us assess whether it lies within the scope of the 5‑year warranty.
Warranty period and service life
We define the service life of an Armatrack rifle stock as 5 years from the date of delivery to the customer. During this time, the stock is covered by our 5‑year structural warranty as long as:
The stock is used in line with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
The damage is not due to misuse, accident, or cosmetic wear.
The stock has not been modified in a way that compromises its original structure.
The 5‑year warranty is in addition to your legal 2‑year guarantee under EU consumer law.
How to make a warranty claim
If you believe your Armatrack stock has a structural issue covered by the 5‑year warranty, please contact us with the following information (you can use the Contact Us page and send your claim via web form, WhatApp or email to include relevant proofs):
Your full name and contact details.
Your order number or proof of purchase.
A clear description of the issue and, if possible, photos or video of the affected area.
A brief explanation of how and when the issue appeared.
We will review your case, potentially ask for the stock to be returned for inspection, and, if the issue falls within the warranty terms, organize repair or replacement as quickly as possible.
Limits and your rights under EU law
Your 5‑year warranty is a commercial guarantee offered by Armatrack and applies in addition to the mandatory 2‑year legal guarantee in the EU. If a defect appears in the first two years, you continue to benefit from your statutory rights, including the right to repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the situation.
